Hummingbirds and ancient lore
I noticed a female humming bird today at my garden. She was drinking from the scarlet runner beans I had planted. The flowers now completely cover my trellis. I was able to get so close! I wonder if that had anything to do with not having eaten animal flesh for 2 years now?
