What a week!
Wow. Well I just went through one of the most challenging weeks of my life. And I am glad to say that when it comes to the food arena, I did very well, inspite of the challenges that come when you go through stress.
I made an interesting observation this week however. I noticed that I could survive on raw foods, and small amounts with no drops in blood sugar. It was as if something in the food sustained me well past what the calories should have.
Then this evening I had a couple cold salads made from garbanzo beans and the like. All vegan of course. Even though I should have been stuffed, I was left with a pervasive sense of hunger.
I’ve given up thinking it is minerals, enzymes and vitamins. I think it has more to do with the efficiency of the cells that make us up. When you consistently give them good food, they do better on less.
And those are my thoughts about that!

sorry you have had it so rough. my thought are with you. glad you know what feels best, you'll come around to it when the time is right.
hugs to little caleb!
I'm always amazed by how much more I eat if it's cooked and how comparatively little I need if it's raw … I guess it just is what it is
I love making my cells happy and dancing with foods loaded with nutrients. Yum Yum!
